Dan's Wine Ramblings, Reviews, Opinions, & Tasting Notes

Hello and welcome to my wine ramblings and reviews. This is where I try to tell you that a wine tastes and smells like a hundred other things except for grapes.  I'm primarily a red wine drinker, but I occasionally enjoy a white wine. You don't need to spend a lot for a good wine, so I generally stay between $10 and $30 per bottle.

I was born in Argentina, so I'm partial to Argentinean and Chilean wines, but I also enjoy Oregon pinots, Australian shirazs, and Californian cabernets. I'm not a big fan of merlot, so you probably won't find many merlot reviews.

My scoring system is the standard 0-100 point system. Generally, anything that scores 80-100 is a wine I would buy again, 70-79 means I thought it was decent, but I wouldn't buy it again, and anything below 70 I give to friends and co-workers as gifts. Most of the wines I drink usually score between 80-89 points.

If you have any comments or questions, please keep them to yourself. Thanks for stopping by.
